Mylapore Festival - 2016

Every year during 2nd week of January, the Mylapore Festival is held at, where else, MYLAPORE. It is a brainchild of Mylapore Times, a local English weekly published in Chennai. The festival contains heritage walks, food walks, classical music, traditional food, traditional games like Pallangkuzhi, number of roadside stalls selling all trinkets, Kolam contest etc etc. This year 2016 the festival is from 7th to 10th Jan. Vijaya and I went today 9th Jan, 4 PM to see and enjoy this. A good one, crowded streets. First we entered via the North Mada Veethi where the Kolam Contest was on. Side by on the right, a few saris were displayed by Co-optex. They were not selling the saris but asking thr customers to visit their Co-optex shop at Luz Corner. (Can you spot Vijaya looking on?)
